AC Shadows Reveals Surprising AoT Crossover for Holiday Season
In a surprising collaboration that challenges conventional forecasts, the game developer has unveiled an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Uncovered
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual confrontation leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of forbidden rituals and monstrous transformations echo through the shadows." The storyline features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine group.
The mission focuses on "peculiar tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The teaser features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Special Rewards and Additional Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:

- Mikasa attire for Naoe

This update also adds the game's newest complimentary story addition, titled "The Mystery."
