Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
